We have three different pricing levels, each of which reflect the market we work for:
Consultancy workLinux, Unix, Network consultancy for customers without service maintenance agreements with us is charged at £70 per engineer hour. We quote a fixed length of time for work where possible and if you're quoted a fixed number of hours, that's what we charge for regardless of how long the job takes. Most work that falls into this category is one-off server restoration jobs, server re-configuration or IT audits. Call out charges apply if work requires us on-site.
Consultancy/Maintenance/Repair workFor customers who have service maintenance agreements with us, or if the work is mainly on Desktop Systems is charged at £35 per engineer hour. Fixed quotes are given where possible. Call out charges apply if work requires us on-site.
Maintenance/Repair workFor customers who have service maintenance agreements with us — any work that is not covered under the maintenance agreement is charged at only £25.00 per hour. Depending on current workload and available staffing, some software engineer development time is also charged at this rate for organisations in the Scottish Highlands wishing customised open source software. Call out charges apply if work requires us on-site.
